Another batch of participants of AgriCrops Production Program just celebrated its 9th Graduation Ceremony held at Villar SIPAG Farm School San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The event was joined by representatives from East-West Seed Foundation, Inc. along with partners from Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (SIPAG) Foundation and some of the local government unit officers. 117 participants finally graduated after the 12-week course on vegetable production training program.
The AgriCrops Production Training was composed of different modules on vegetable production from the basics of vegetable growing such as land preparation and seed sowing, up to the record-keeping of harvests. The program was scheduled to conduct one session every week including hands-on activities. The participants of the program will also receive certificates upon completion of the training.
Also, the launching of the 10th AgriCrops Production Program followed shortly after graduation. During this cycle, it will be focused more on Urban Gardening which makes use of containers appropriate for urban setting or areas with small spaces.
East-West Seed Foundation and Villar SIPAG are on its way to complete the three (3) cycles of the much-anticipated training for the year 2019.
