👩🌾 Hats off to our amazing corn women farmers!
Around 30 corn women farmers from Bukidnon, Isabela, Cagayan, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Kalinga joined the Culminating Activity of the GrowHer Training of Trainers. These hardworking women farmers not only learned valuable skills on climate-smart farming techniques and agripreneurship, but they also shared their insights and plans for passing on their knowledge to other farmers in their communities. Their dedication and commitment to improving their farming practices are truly inspiring.
We are excited to see these women farmers GROW!

Supported by our Women's Economic Empowerment Program, the ASEAN Green Recovery Through Equity and Empowerment (AGREE) Training of Trainers trained 32 corn women farmer leaders on farm and production planning, intercropping, Integrated Nutrient Management, Integrated Pest Management, Water Management, and digital tools for agripreneurship.
AGREE is a research project funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and implemented by Grow Asia through its country chapters in the Philippines, Cambodia, and Vietnam. It aims to contribute a catalogue of what's working, what’s needed, and how to scale women's economic empowerment via low-carbon strategies—a gap identified by Grow Asia on effectively mainstreaming gender across its network.
