Aboitiz Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation Join Forces for Brigada Eskwela 2024 at Aguho Elementary School

On August 3, 2024, the Aboitiz Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation partnered to support the Brigada Eskwela initiative at Aguho Elementary School, Pateros, Manila. In line with the national school maintenance program, this collaboration brought together volunteers and resources to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year. This partnership highlights the importance of education, community involvement, and sustainable agriculture in fostering a better learning environment for Filipino students.

As part of this year’s Brigada Eskwela, Aboitiz Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation donated seeds from Farm-Ready GG Seedlings, a project aimed at promoting food security and sustainable gardening practices. These seeds will be used to create a school garden, providing fresh produce for the students and serving as a learning tool to teach them about the importance of nutrition and agriculture.

By contributing to Brigada Eskwela 2024, the Aboitiz Foundation and East-West Seed Foundation not only helped prepare Aguho Elementary School for the new school year but also planted the seeds of knowledge and sustainability in the minds of young students. Through initiatives like this, the foundations continue to make a lasting impact on the communities they serve, promoting a brighter future for all.
